The Tombs of the Kings is a large necropolis lying about two kilometres west of Paphos harbour in Cyprus. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Latchi is a beautiful port in Cyprus, where the fishermen still bring in the fresh catch of the morning. In the past few years due to it’s evergrowing facilities and amenities, Latchi has become a favorite stopping point after the Greek Isles and Turkey. there are various shops and resturants in the marine.
The Museum consists of three exhibition spaces – Rooms I and II and the Atrium. Objects in Room I, which was named after Mr. Nicos Shacolas, derive from an extensive area around Polis and are chronologically arranged so as to portray its historical development from the Neolithic and Chalcolithic periods to the Medieval period. In Room II exhibits come from the rich necropolis of the area with special reference to the location and excavation of the above cemeteries.
One of the best sandy beaches of the region, it is located in Pegeia – Coral Bay, easily reached by car, motorbike, bicycle and bus. Water sports, sun bed and umbrella hire are available on site. There are accommodation facilities nearby, while lifeguards are on duty with lifesaving equipment between 1:00 to 17:30 hours during the swimming season.
